Grand final time.

Well it’s come down to this Bocky v Williamstown on Sunday at Casey for the ultimate prize a flag massive, after a great season it’s quiet fitting that the two top sides play each other in the grand final for the right to claim the title.

Whilst there are many great stories out of the season with new players to the side, great win loss ratio, personal milestones reached, individual goals achieved, masterful coaching and us making the first ever grand final of the 45s competition👍, there is one more thing that can’t escape me saying and that is that when you have such a great culture strong side and club it creates a healthy competition within.

So you make a granny and then there is 30 odd players that don’t fit into 24 and the coach has to make the hard decision of having to leave some players out, I know I say this from my heart and speak for many others that we need to recognize the contributions of these guys that have just missed out for no reason other than excessive numbers.

Coons, George P, Pratty, Andy B, Woodsy, Mully, Gus, and any others who I may have missed (Sorry) who are all more than handy players and many times this season have played a roll in getting us to where we are right now…… a grand final, their contributions and commitment to the cause do not go unnoticed or unappreciated thank you as you are still very much a great part of this teams journey thus far with hopefully one more win to be a part of.

Congratulations to everyone involved both on and off the field to date but we still have unfinished business so let’s stay focused for one more game and take home the cup, then we can truly cap off a great season and celebrate in style.

Go Bocky.
